I discussed this topic awhile back on my brochspot.com blog, and wanted to revist it here on VOX. If you don't want to know, or don't care to know, you can quit reading at this point.
After reading the 6th book, I began to theorize an idea, and when JK Rowling announced that she was killing off Harry, I just knew it had to be the case.
Let me take you back to book 6. Do you remember what Harry and Dumbledore were out to do at the end of the book? There were many items called a "Horcrux" that contained a piece of Voldemort. As long as any of those items existed, Voldemort could return from death. Here you go. I believe that Harry is one of the horcruxes. I believe that so long as Harry lives, that Voldemort can return from the dead. Harry Potter is a horcrux.
